Jennifer S. Walther

Jennifer S. Walther has been exclusively representing employers since 1990. Ms. Walther defends employers in employment litigation in federal and state courts, and administrative agency proceedings. She has extensive experience in employment discrimination and labor relations litigation, including federal court jury trials, federal and state appellate practice and administrative agency proceedings. Ms. Walther also regularly counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship and labor matters, in both union and non-union workforces, including issues related to discrimination, harassment, disabilities, wage and hour, worker’s and unemployment compensation, employment contracts, employee handbooks, discipline and discharge, reductions in force, and drug testing.

Ms. Walther received her B.A. degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She is a cum laude graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Walther frequently speaks to employer groups on employment issues, and has provided in-house training for employers. She has conducted seminars and training sessions for various organizations, on topics such as sexual harassment, discipline and discharge, and FMLA. She is a member of the Labor and Employment Law and Litigation Sections of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin and American Bar Associations, HRMA (Human Resource Management Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc.) and NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners). She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Wisconsin, and the Sixth and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
