JAN SCOTT PIERCE

Raised in Southeast Asia and Chicago, I've called Wisconsin home for three decades. I studied Philosophy, History and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin, returning to school later to pursue an Accounting degree. In 1995, I received my Bachelor of Business Administration from Viterbo College in La Crosse. I went on to earn my J.D. from Marquette University Law School, graduating in 2000. Before joining the firm in 2006, my professional career included experience in corporate accounting, later serving as the controller of a Milwaukee corporation.

I practice in the areas of Real Estate Development, Taxation, Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Licensing, Copyright and Trademark Law. Previously, my background was in business litigation, tax, business law and bankruptcy. I am a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, have practiced throughout the state, and am licensed in both the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Wisconsin.
