MARTIN W. MEYER
I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (magna cum laude) in Accounting and Finance in 1979 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1982. I started my professional career in the tax department of an international accounting firm, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1985. I then went on to serve as Tax and Legal Counsel for a national real estate syndication firm. I am also licensed as a real estate broker. I joined the firm in 1990, and have been a shareholder since 1997.
My practice centers on business law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, taxation, and the choice and formation of new entities. I am a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.Mergers and Acquisitions
