Thad Jelinske on Commercial Litigation
Some people think trials are glamorous. As a trial lawyer for businesses, I view them more as an option of last resort. You and your business don’t have time to get mired in the courtroom. That’s why I’ll analyze your situation, and then take the steps to resolve the issues as quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. If we go to trial, we’re going to go with an air-tight case. And we’re going to win.

Defining Legal Moment
I go back to my early days with Mawicke & Goisman, S.C.. The firm was handling a complicated legal matter concerning a client, and I had an opinion that differed from where we were heading with the case. I was delighted to find that not only were my thoughts welcomed, they actually caused us to change our direction. In the end, everyone’s ego took a back seat to the needs of the client, which was, and still is, incredibly refreshing. It was also an indication of how important a team culture can be in a law firm. I’ve been with Mawicke & Goisman, S.C. ever since.
